Dads. You gotta love them. Besides carrying out their parental duties, they’re also known for their classic dad jokes and while most will make us roll our eyes, this particular joke brings a smile to our face.

For years Fred Josephsen, owner of Josephsen Hardwood Floors, has been taking photos of his clients’ pets and sending them to his family. His son Dillon Josephsen, who introduced the Internet to his dad’s photos, says his father often gets lonely installing flooring by himself and since his clients are usually at work when he does his work, that leaves him alone with the owners’ pets, who he dubs his “employees.”

Recently Dillon thought the Internet should know about his father’s unique employees.

According to BuzzFeed News, Fred started the joke, though typically just photos, many years ago, and until he started a Facebook page for his business it was kept within the family.

“I never looked at my dad’s Facebook page but then I saw all of these pictures and I was like, ‘my friends have got to see this,'” Dillon told BuzzFeed News.

Fred, who Dillon says is a big animal lover, doesn’t discriminate. In addition to the countless canine employees, he has also “worked” with several cats, one which received the title “supervisor of the month,” and a donkey!

The employees act more as a friendly face rather than lend Fred a helping paw.

In 2010 when Fred first started uploading the photos, the employees were only recognized by their names, now he includes a fun fact about them and usually ends with a “good boy!” or “good girl!”.

It’s certainly not your typical Facebook business page.

Since Dillon’s tweet has gone viral, thousands have liked the Josephsen Hardwood Floors Facebook page and many have left comments not only about Fred’s employees, but his work as well. Fred’s son says that while most of the attention isn’t local, they hope that it can translate into an increase in business.

What a good pupper!
